Following a nightmare camping holiday at Kessingland Beach I feel I must let fellow campers know. The first thing that greeted us was what looked like an uncared for park. Granted the salty air is not friendly towards paint work but this was i need of attention. The organisation is none existant we were just told any where over the bridge. The bridge was rickety and did not feel safe. The field was absolutly disgusting, huge rutts and cracks everywhere. The camping field is situated in the furthest corner and gives the feeling of segregation. Now I am not a snob and by my own addmission not the cleanest of people, however there are certain standards that should be met and clean toilets are one. One of the toilets (which later turned out to be the DISABLED) was blocked for 48 hours after we reported it to park manager. After writing to them and complaining we were told that it was out of order. The swimming pool area was dirty and staff rude. This site would in my opinion put some families off camping. The attitude of the staff seems to me is that campers are 3rd rate citizens.

If any member of this forum has suffered a similar experience at this site or any PARK RESORTS site, as it seems that they have removed the reviews link from there listings on ukcampsites.co.uk please leave a review here or email me at deanowat1 at yahoo.co.uk (change at for @). I have started a campaign to attempt to get PARK RESORTS to clean up their act and sites and to treat campers with the respect we deserve.
WE ARE NOT 3RD RATE CITIZENS so should not be treated so.
